Nicholas Meyer est un scénariste, réalisateur, producteur et acteur américain né le 24 décembre 1945 à New York, New York (Etats-Unis).

Il est connu pour son implication dans les films de la série Star Trek, ses romans inspirés de Sherlock Holmes et son roman Time after time inspiré de La machine à explorer le temps, et qu'il a porté à l'écran dans le film C'était demain (1979).
